Hornby Island Fire Hall

In addition to the unique factors that come with working on an island that takes two ferries to get to, the Hornby Island Fire Hall project was designed and built using Passive House principles. Passive House buildings consume significantly less energy for heating and cooling, making the eco-conscious island a perfect application. The new hall includes four apparatus bays for trucks and an additional ambulance bay, along with office space, locker rooms, common area/kitchen and training space.
