North Island College – Gathering Place
IWCD was brought in as Construction Manager for North Island College’s newest project: The Gathering Place.
This addition is a 3,300 sq. ft. gathering place with emphasis on embracing First Nations culture in the finishes. This work of art West Coast style is clad with cedar on both the interior and exterior and features gorgeous fir columns and beams. The Gathering Place was constructed with many features to allow for culturally significant ceremonies to be attended in comfort.
